My fireblade rr6

    Here is my new to me rr6, sold my rsv4. Got it for £3995 with 9600 miles and it is in pretty much mint standard condition, only had a wee blast on it but i feel more comfortable on it than i did on the rsv4. Just need to get an exhaust, tailtidy and remove the rear pegs.

    Everyone was telling me it would be a let down after the aprilia but i can honestly say i am not disappointed.

    I was going to ask, the rr6/7 is still up to the job of a superbike IMO, and they come alive with a system and some simple mods.

    Yeah i like the size of it, the aprilia was tiny and although it was a stunning bike to ride it was wasted on the road and when i did track days it was always in my mind that if i bin it thats 12 grand down the toilet. Although i would be gutted to crash the blade at a track day it would be more bearable than the aprilia. The blade is still a better bike than i am a rider :)

    And me too!!!!!!

    Got mine today a black 2006 blade..... a little more milage that yours @17,000, rode it back from Windsor to Pembrokeshire today.... great stuff photo1.jpg

    Very nice mate, the red wasn't my first choice in colour but it's growing on me, gonna get some chinese fairings as well for trackdays next year.

    iv got a rr6 about 6 weeks ago black 1 i think like you its a better bike then im a rider il be spending 700 quid on it to make it my bike as i want it

    Nice bikes folks, i have to say i agree that my blade is a far better bike than i am a rider. I will never get anywhere near its limits i hope..

    I hate red bikes but that colour on the 6/7 always catches my eye for some reason, it just works nice bike mate
