I spent all day yesterday tidying my garage. I need to paint it now. I have a copressor which came with one of those paint sprayer attachments. What kind of paint should I use with the sprayer? I assume that some are suitable and some are not ! Do I need to water the paint down? Advice please. And.........what colour do you think would look cool??? !!!!
Although orange is the best colour in the world I have to agree with the above^^^^^ What about an orange floor
Do it. you will find everything works 100%, you don't loose anything. it will be the fastest Garage in the area Lovely garage by the way. But you need more in there. looks to bare
Can't paint the floor. It already has some industrial floor covering on it. White walls are ok but hardly exciting ! I expected madder from you lot ! Now....who's going to tell me the do's and don'ts of painting with a compressor????
Look on freecycle for an old kitchen, bang it in the garage for your tools and cleaning bits and bobs, and make it into a mancave with fridge for beer, wine cooler ans a sofa. No idea on the compressor though lol.
Yes ! We built it ourselves. 25 foot square with a pit and a huge room above as well. If I had the money to turn it into a luxury mancave, I would !
Is that not the garage fae ferris buellers day off??? As for the spraying via compressor IMH your better off just usin a big roller, the compressor is the pics is a small unit and u will find it unable to cope with the demand of spraying! You will find the coverage thru a compressor won't be very good as you need to thin the paint down enuff to go thru the nozzle of the gun which would then require multiple coats just like vehicles. You really will be faster with a roller mate!
Got to say some of the garages posted don't look like a proper working mans garage but more of a work of art or inside the home. I would rather have a good working garage/man cave than a show garage if you get me. I don't mean Silverbacks. He just needs something more in the garage. like more bikes or a car etc...
Sod the spray gun and compressor, gonna take you more time cleaning the gun and doing the masking up to cover the overspray problem. get a roller on a pole and a big drum of white matt, whack it on and chuck the roller (not worth the water cost to wash it out) Stainless or red tool drawers and benches.
