I run open top bus tours every Saturday in Manchester and today I was faced with my first disabled passenger who was 70+ in a wheel chair,as my open top is an old bus it does not have wheel chair access. After one of the ladies friends pulled there face in disbelief, I offered to carry the disabled lady to one of the seats on the lower deck which they were all very happy with, I had a laugh with them about doing this as she said her son was a man united fan and she said she would tell him that she had been in the arms of a Manchester city fan(me) We then started the tour after about 10 minutes of me thinking how this poor lady was not getting the benefit of been on the top deck I stopped the bus,and asked the lady if she would like me to carry her upstairs to which I did. The look on her face and all the passengers was priceless as this was the first time she had been on the top deck of any bus as no company bus drivers would do this in case they hurt the lady. Her friends were nearly in tears and I got a round of applause from all the passengers. It really did make my day ..
Good on ya mate! Sorta thing I'd do but H&S always tried to Fek it up for Peeps! Did ya Kick back down after you'd got ya money off her?
Not sure but she had a rock of a diamond on her finger. I can just hear it at her reading of her will when she dies, and I leave my entire estate to the loverly bus driver from Manchester who threw me over his shoulders and took me up stairs for the first time .
It would have been shit, if you'd squeezed her cholostomy bag. Good on ya though Jason. You've been a proper little helper for the infirm this week. Steve still keeps mentioning how you showed him round Oulton Park this week I think that's what he means?
Good on you Jason. A lot of people would be put off by the thought of being reprimanded all because of H&S. It's one of things that will last in that woman's memories.
If it's not enough to be grabbing men's arses you're now touching up 70 year old ladies! Shame on you Jason!
Nice one, Jason. I'm a lazy bastard and should I ever come to Manchester (community service or such) I hope you'll extend the same service to a mate....
