I have just fitted my new levers and something doesn't seem right. If you look at the clutch lever it sticks out further the the bar end, but the brake lever seems a lot shorter. They were supposed to be standard length and when you operate them something doesn't feel right. Trouble is, I've replaced them because on my low side just before christmas I snapped the brake lever so don't have the old one to compare it to. If anyone has a standard RR4 with original levers on could you please show me what they look like cos I suspect that I may have been supplied with a short brake lever and standard length clutch lever. If these are wrong then I'm going to contact the seller and order the shorter clutch lever.

Did the mastercylinder slide along when you dropped it? It could be out of place?

Well that's what I initially thought, so unclamped it to slide it back towards the throttle but it won't slide over because the starter and kill swithch are stopping it, I'm pretty sure that won't have moved. There's no adjustment there to be had, which is what's throwing me off. And also, if there was any adjustment there, it certainly wouldn't be ebough to make up the difference. Confused.com

Looking again maybe the clutch one has slid out? As that looks too long (compared to the bar end)

Well, upon further investigation, the clutch lever clamp is as far in as possible. Aaarrrggggghhhh, this is hurting my brain, lol.

Your throttle cables don't look right either, are you sure nothing is twisted/bent

Everything looks spot on mate, been having a good look round it but can't see anything bent. I wondered if the pivot was bent but that looks spot on as well. What's wrong with the throttle cables?

You could always measure them both and see how they compare length wise.

If anyone has standard levers on their rr4 can you please post up some pics to put my mind at rest. I have been looking at pics on ebay of standard ones and looks like the original levers sit different.

Had a quick look at my asv's and they are the same so I assume it's the different m/c's used for the brakes and clutch. [IMG][IMG]
