My new race look

I've not even had the RR5 for a year, but wanted a different look.
It came like this


But today I removed the fairings


and fitted my new ones. A nice blank canvas.
I had bought £150 worth of fairings off ebay, but they needed a bit of work, fortunately I know a good bodyshop and a £200 cash job saw them coming back like this.


Add £25 worth of sticker kit and vinyl sheet, I'm almost there.

 

Looks good but you just could have bought white boots.

 

Boots to me means tyres, i assume you mean the wheels?
More expense i could do without. I bought new wheel rim stickers though, looks much better than the old rim tape.

 

Nope, I mean gleaming white footwear, all you need for that racer look and they make you go faster

Done a bit more on the front today.
Ignore the headlight covers, I'm stickering them up for track days.

git of advice from me get rid of them gold levers for black ones get the wheels poowder coated white im getting mind done £70 the pair get rid of the orange indicater lens for the dark tint one then my friend then it will look the dogs

there are 2 places 1 in crewe wilkinsons £80 you have to remove tyres the 1 i will be uesing is in winsford he will do them for £70 the pair and he takes tyres off and put back on my mate just had his done white and a nice job both places are in cheshire

 

Still working on the fairing at the mo. so any other mods will have to wait.
Got the tail section back on and done a bit more to the front. Still not sure about some of the ones on the front cowl though. I may change some of them.

 

It's pretty much finished now. Got the rest of the sticker kit on. Adjusted a few bits, fitted the Stomp Grips from the old tank.
I'm just waiting on delivery of the Venture Shield so I can cover the front of the lower side fairings from stone chips and the carbon tank pad.
