Today, I have mostly been making this: www.alissihairdressing.com I've made it in iWeb, purely because I wanted a go myself to see if I could do it.... All in all, hosting and the domain name for 10 years has cost me £40 all in..... Cheap as chips punters can you guys give me honest opinions on it, the layout etc...? I can always rejigger it if necessary. I'm no web designer, but was getting some silly money quotes for simple stuff...and I like a challenge. Your opinions are greatly accepted.

Just my thoughts on a couple of things: About Us - Alissi also believes in no hard sell, so we do not have shelves full of retail Should the word 'products' be in here to push onto the client, but a full range of aftercare and styling products can be ordered through our catalogue. Products - Colour fresh, colour Touch. Should that read Colour Fresh, Colour Touch ?
looks spot on to me. maybe some more pictures of styling you have done on punters , such as wedding photos etc.
Do the images look a tad soft to anyone else. Like they've been jpg'd a bit too far... Are you and Al twins then Si?
I would get a link to a Facebook page ,we use Facebook for daily deals ,.pictures etc . In your case you could offer discounts in quiet periods,promotions ,.competions etc Get people liking the page and word soon spreads especially on Facebook,when I put something on our Facebook page it can have hundreds of people seeing it all potential customers, also when I put stuff on Facebook it also goes on to my websites so updating them with new info which google like to see. It works for us and its free to set up a simple Facebook page .
Oh yeah I personally would have it on the homepage as its such a good link and everybody uses it nowadays . We also use Youtube a lot you could do the same with any hair shows etc you might do,modelling nights, training yet again free but in our case it makes us stand our from the competion when we say go to our video channel and view our limos . I think you could have a future in web building as for a first attempt it looks good .
