A few months ago I decided I wanted another bike, after selling my 2010 Blade early last year. I originally decided on a Ducati 1199S, even after a test ride and finding that it in my hands it was not exactly happy in traffic or filtering. I did at one point make an offer on one which was advertised in Ireland, which was accepted, but because the advert didn't state that it was over the water, I backed out. I have always wanted a Duke but then the more reviews I read i finally talked myself out of it. Then I turned my attention to an 899, which I never rode but is supposed to be a great bike, but I have always had litre bikes, and I knew I would not be happy with the little brother. So that was Ducati's ruled out. Next was the S1000rr which I never rode, but after reading various stories on the BM forums about their not so great build quality, and the looks which sometimes I liked, and other times I wasn't so sure about, I talked myself out of them. R1 for a fleeting moment, but after reading the next model might be an all new one, I decided against it. Then my attention turned back to a Blade, I have always liked the looks, the build quality, and the way they handle. Other bikes may get better reviews in the hands of other people, but when I consider the price difference between year old Dukes and BM'S, and compare them in my own mind and riding ability, then for me it was a no brainer, to get another one. The Blade is a great bike and a very forgiving bike, and to me you just can't beat it, for the ride and the price.
I know mines a old one( rr-w ) but I allways wanted one from the day thy came out , and mangered to find one local to me as my thinking was if I donot get one know I never will , and its the best bike ive had
