Nearly made it

    Yes its quite sad but i nearly got out on the bike, but have run out of time. Just did the run to Elaines Mums and brothers, home out with the dog noting how warm it is and the roads drying by the minute ,anyway Mike jnr and Claire and Jake are due at 1.30 so i have had to pour a glass of Pear Cider just to get the mind set on not being able ;)to get out and do what i should be doing ie enjoying xmas day ,Bikes are a drug so thats how it is .But tomorrow is another day and when you lot are rolling around on left over Turkey with a bit of luck i will be out.Have a nice day my friends .Mike.

    Mike,I had the same thoughts too.2pm this afternoon I was gonna go and and have a blast.Wife decided my fate "you're washing up".F*ck it I thought I'll have a drink then.Ipod on headphones on and got on with it.Maybe tomorrow checked weather it's looking good!

    Im going to the inlaws.... Was thinking of a cheeky little morning blast... But she wants to get there before 12 for a 4pm dinner!!! Wtf wtf wtf

    Brutal ain't it nutty.... I'd go out early doors but won't be nice until 10am at earliest.... Think I'll head out tues or Wednesday. Make a day if it!!

    I got out this AM. I said 'bugger. The sun's out. Look.'. And Jeanette said 'well get your shit together and get out on the bike then'.

    What more provocation did I need. Met her at her sisters later, just in time for lunch.

    Thanks Megs, she is one in a million. She was probably also sick of me whining about having to go to her sister's for lunch and was just getting me out of the way.

    Yipeeeee, got out on the bike today, just 40 miles but better than nothing. The roads were really busy and damp but there were a few patches with dry lines. My new gloves worked well, particularly the right one ;).

    I had almost forgotten how much I love riding the Blade, but within two minutes it was just like I had never been away from her. I like it when there's a bit of traffic, I love overtaking, for me it's part of the fun. Quite a few others out today but didn't see a single Blade....but it was a bit blurry.
