What are you looking to buy at NEC? I'm looking to get some new boots and one piece leathers, as I look as if I've stolen my new shiny blade in my current gear!
I was getting loads but I have bought it all and too be honest don't wanna get my hands full with goodies I need my hands for beer ha ha think I'm gonna get a rain light that's about it
Just going for Going sake now really. Had lots of big ideas, sadly the piggy bank has been raided for this year
If I can get a similar deal to last year I want another pair of Oxford Nano Eyeshots. Possibly a lid and boots, but not sure the budget will stretch that far at the moment.
Will be going but not sure if buying anything yet, girlfriend has offered money as early present to get some stuff for the bike
No motoGP deal tickets for Silverstone which was the mega offer / saving the last few years Not sure I can make it - I've got trips to London, Edinburgh, Paris and Dublin in space of what feels 10 days I think all round the show For Alpinestars gear look for the Bikerswear stall, they are quite local and give good deals, plus will post your purchases for really cheap rates so no need to lug them round all day etc.
I really need to pick up some Hel Brake lines but to be honest Im not sure they will beat the current forum deal, lol Other than that I'm there to toggle the lycra...I mean Bikes!!
New arai for me, and anything else that takes my fancy, maybe a kiddo moto for my little boy, got to start them you g!!
I have found that I can buy the majority of gear just as cheap if not cheaper either local or online. Last time there a lot of the stalls were cheap tat. My local dealer gives a good discount so I rarely buy at the show unless there is a genuine bargain going on. As I am from the North East it is working out very expensive going to the NEC now, £70/£80 fuel, £20 each entry, £10 parking, £10+ each grub, that is £70 each when there is two going. I am thinking that I would rather buy some parts for £70 than spend it on fuel, entry etc. Really wanted to go this year but am having second thoughts when I am adding up the pennies close to Christmas. If I can blag some free tickets and four in a car then its a different matter !
I rarely buy anything from there but last year there were some good "save the vat deals" from bike torque for me its all about a day off from work in the week , talk shit with the lads on the long journey and check out a few bikes and birds , that's gotta be better than working !!!
Power commander, Screaming Banshee, Shoei GT Air Regalia and an Optimate. Although I probably won't be arsed to carry it all and buy after the show. I think I remember seeing Get Geared had a great discount online, across everything for 24/48hrs last christmas or boxing day so may see what they have to offer
