Can someone tell me what the hell this thing is called? And ideally a part no. for a 2009 bike. The rubber infill collar/cowl/doobery that goes between the frame and the fairing/intake? I've looked at the online microfiche sites and can't find it... My bike is missing the one on the left side....

I've lost 2 now, and I've just removed them now from both sides So far its had zero impact - if however this will cause the bike to self destruct or worse can somebody let me know, they appear to have trouble at the higher speeds experienced in Germany
Nope - that's Germany for 9 hours in the pissing rain going to Ludvigs castle from the ring in late May, then another 6 hours in pissing rain on way back up through Germany 6 days later
