Was wanting an easy to bleed and reliable ABS system so made a compromise.......... Arrived yesterday
Not even fired it up yet I've got a Ventureshield kit to fit and rad guards coming Monday. Am back on nights for a week anyway, should be ready for my 3 weeks off
Ha! If she's anything like mine I think you've got away with it. It's red and white and got 2 wheels!
Ross.........how dare you make a claim like that, you will scare the Honda abs believers! Vosa gave it the all clear and done vigorous testing on the cbr1000rr's abs system on the bikes that Honda gave them to do the testing on and Honda also sent a tech along with a specs diagram which proved the system could not fail under any normal circumstances, these cherry picked bikes in no way or form would have had any sort of impact on the results would it? All those folks that had issues all over the world just didn't know how brakes are meant to work! Vosa not using a customers bike for the testing which was known by both dealers techs and owner to fail was obviously biased as it may have raised a safety concern issue! The new bike does look pretty nice tho!
It depends on the bm in question, as far as the RR is concerned bmw does not give or specify any specific bleeding procedures other than bleed like a non abs bike unless they have published something different recently.
There are some apparent crazy procedures for some models (mainly bigger heavier bikes) which apparently utilise a servo for extra braking assistance for the bigger bikes, not had any dealings with them just what I have read tho.
