Have a look at the Ctek range of chargers - I tried one after problems with my Optimate (over rated in my opinion). These chargers bring batteries back to life when other chargers can't. I've only got the 1.2 amp model and consequently with a flat battery it does take a few hours to fully charge it. My Optimate used to stop working after any disturbances to the supply but the Ctek takes it in its stride and restarts without having to disconnect and reconnect the battery. They also have a very good guarantee. Cheers - Steve
