New blade owner.

    Hi all
    Just bought my first honda fireblade. Had a few other 1000cc bikes in the past but must say i am really impressed so far with this blade.
    Any hints or tips welcome.

    Hints / Tips...
    Most of us Pat the tank from time to time, regardless of whether it's a reward for a good ride, or just a reassuring pat as you walk passed it in the garage.:)

    Hi Neil! Welcome to the forums.
    I've only just bought a blade too (my first 1000cc); so far 1000 miles and I'm loving every bit of it and so glad I bought a blade and not one of the rivals.

    LOL I thought it was just me! (I stroke wing mirrors).

    Tips: Unhook the exhaust flapper from the servo! I just did this today and took it for a ride. It's much, much better without it!
