My mate has a 19 blade and is wondering whether to change it
He does like it and has just added new exhaust, quickshifter,
He does fast road and some track days
But and this is the bit
He has been told even by the dealer they are very very twitchy
And some other rumours that people are taking them back:eek:
So is he best keeping his 19?

I ran the 2018 for about 18 months and usually ride fast country B roads, some of those with fairly horrendous surfaces in places. Never had a problem. Usual Blade performance, quick and no real dramas. I don't think there's much difference between the 2018/19 model year.

I think he is suggesting the New blade is very nervous not his 2019?
I've got a 2019 and it's not nervous just a bit cramped but I'm the custodian of a Stella belly.
As for the latest and greatest version I couldn't sau having never tried one

New one is more planted on the front than the old one...although even more focused riding position wider bars and higher pegs..

I can safely say my 2020 Blade is the best one I've ever ridden @bazzashadow and I've had Blades from way back as 1998. I have to admit you need to ride it like a 600cc due to the gearing but the handling and power are second to none.
Forget what the dealer has told you as I've ridden mine on both track and road but did change the tyres to Power Cup 2's for the extra edge grip.
Hope this help him decide as there are some good deals going on the older 2020 model before the new one comes out.
