Hi all, new to this forum after a bit of advice. Looking at buying an 08 model snub nose and just wondering if I should watch out for? I heard they can burn oil any problems with this? Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks Pete

I have just got an 09, it has used some oil, not much, engine done 3,000 miles now, 1,200 with me .
I love the bike, it is so easy to ride.

On a 08-09 it's more important to watch out for the crank, rather than worry about a little oil loss.

I had a 08MY on a 09 plate for over 4 years and the bike was faultless. Serviced it (oil, filter and fluids) every year and it ran without issue.

I did approx. 3500 miles per year on it and never had to top up oil or fluids.

    They are a great bike

make sure it has updated crank.. otherwise all good..apart from oil consumption.
