New can

    Bought a 'pre-owned' Scorpion can off EBay a few months ago and finally got round to fitting it this weekend. I obviously took it out for a quick blast to try it out and it does sound great, but the idle speed has gone up to about 1500 rpm. Is this usual on the 2008+ model Blades with a can that's free of all the catalyst crap?

    Sounds like you will need a Power Commander for it .

    I did the ECU reset and that did the trick. Neighbours thought I was a bit weird letting the bike idle for so long though!!
