As the standard RR7 speedo isn't the most inspiring grey block of electronics about I am thinking of changing it.
My first thought was a HM one, however, the fact that they don't list one for the RR7 and I would still have to use a speedo healer to correct the 20% over-read knocks it off the wish list.
On my Suzuki I fitted one of these in the 20k rpm version
    KOSO RX-2N SPEEDO WHITE 10K RPM.JPG
It's performed very well, very clearly read and has lots of functions, plus the speedo reading is a magnetic pick up that, when I fitted it, reads the bolts form the rear sprocket so giving an actual reading rather than one thats reliant on having the correct ratios in the final drive.
The down side, of course, is the fact that they, unlike HM, don't do model specific harnesses so I will have to buy a second hand front loom then rewire it with the Koso harness then strip the front off the bike (again) to do the change over...but no pain no gain they say..

Dunno about not covering the RR7 but the HM dash has a built in speedo healer

Arthur or Toby will be along later to confirm no doubt ;)
