So, The fairings Arrived from China Yesterday and i am well pleased. The paintwork is spot on and the design is exactly how i wanted it. There is a slight fitment issue with the nose cone but this could be my fault as it was 11:30pm when i was fitting it and was getting stressed so i was rushing, i'm going to take it off later and try refitting it properly. I haven't put the SKB Racing decals (My initials) on it yet like were on my GSXR but will hopefully do that tomorrow as i'm off work tomorow. Here she is in all her Glory .......
Cheers. Its not finished yet, got the Tank Grips, Wheel Rim Stripes and Braided hoses to go on as well as the Decals that i had on my Gixxer (My Initials)
They are from Neverland Fairings in China, paid £301 for them and i sent the design over myself, the Orange is Pearlescant so the price is amazing!! there is a few issues i have but i think that is down to me more than the kit as i have them on my 08 GSXR600 from the same firm and they fit like OEM
Mate I'm curious, why have you taken your original Honda fairings off and now made your blade look like it's been chucked down the road and had a dodgy paint repair job?
I doesn't????? Check the last 2 pics. I think that's called individuality and not following the flock of sheep, and his last bike wore the same colours so it's obviously personal to him. I like it.
You might want to clarify that this is the old bike and not have people (like me) wondering why you had an S script on a Honda
Yes, as exuptoy says, its an individual thing. I really hate having the same bike as everyone else, my last 5 bikes have all been repainted, and the reason im keeping tge oem fairings is so when I sell it i can prove it wasn't crashed. And in all honesty im not too fussed if people think its been dropped until it comes to selling it.
I really like the idea of changing the colour scheme of the bike for a few hundred £. Are you going to the hassle of changing your log book, insurance docs etc?
I've sent the log book for a colour change due to the police will have the bike as white and I dont want them pulling me over due to that and then trying to do me for other things. But when I rang my insurance they said it doesnt matter as nowhere on my policy does it mention the colour and they dont ask or care what colour it is
