After much tooling and frioing I have decided to upgrade my stock exhaust for a Scorpion RP GP1. I had one on my previous bike that was stolen (bastards, I need to let this go....). It may not not be the most exotic but for £499.00 it's good value, we'll made, sounds great and it's British! I had hoped it would turn up yesterday so I could get it fitted and get a blast this weekend. Got to wait till next weekend now..

I'm after one of these too,any idea what the DB noise level is?I want a happy compromise, not too loud not too quiet, they look the best can on the market IMHO.

Not sure of the actual DB level but it does come with a removable baffle. I did a track day at Snetterton with the previous bike and had no issue when they measured the noise level. My mate on his S1000rr fitted with an Akropovic did not pass!

According to the blurb it does not require any remapping. so works straight out of the box.

Was it the small akra or the big cannon? I measured a friends bike with the stubby akra and it was 112db :-D
