Hi all just bought myself a Fireblade RR-6 i live in Sheffield and i love the bike only been out on it twice but feels great. this is my first big bike just had 10 months on a 2006 R6 after passing my test but felt like a woman on a 600 so it had to go, so i started looking at 1000cc bikes i put a deposit on a GSXR 1000 2008 on Tuesday 7th may Wednesday i got my deposit back, Wednesday i went and had a look at an R1 2008 been on back wheel more than both wheels very loose steering and loads of play in it, Thursday i went and had a look at a Fireblade and brought it home that night for what i thought was a bargain price of £4500. 14,000 miles and im the second owner. extras on the bike include. pazzo shorty levers helibars hel brake lines venture shield on tank gilles vcr rear sets gilles shift support zero gravity double bubble screen motivation frame, fork, swing arm sliders black frame bungs genuine honda seat cowel bike came with all original parts plus paddock stands. luckily my R6 went no problem after buying mine and the Fireblade only £200 difference. so im lucking forward to many happy days on my new machine. here are a few photos,

Hi Andy welcome to the site ,might see you about I'm only in Barnsley (Sheffield side) keep your eyes peeled for a 09 repsol Jase.
Yes I will do althought the Fireblade seems a lot less aggressive than my R6, it used to pull like mad after 10,000 rpm but below that a bit dead, The Cbr is a lot better mid range less gear change etc etc but maybe because it is bigger just doesn't seem as rapid!!
welcome Andy ... love the black blade ... needs to be more of them out there ... all these repsol and hrc colours are nice but black just looks the muttz nuttz
