I own a 2011 Blade. My intention was to change it for the new model. However when it came out it became apparent it had changed direction and was made as a track bike and not as a road bike first and then the cost was eye watering. So it has dropped off my shopping list. So I am looking at a 2019 model. But everytime I go to buy one I keep hesitating because the S1000RR seems a better buy. I want a Fireblade, please can you all give me a reason not to buy the BMW
If that's what you want then there is no reason not to have one. Some people will tell you to worry about owning one out of warranty though. I'd chose the BMW over the standard 2019 blade. Might chose the SP over them both though.
Might be worth test riding both if you're planning on doing a lot of riding. A mate swapped his 19 SP for the bmw M sport as he found it a more comfy riding position. He's a stocky tall guy.
I would echo Lozzy. I tried the beemer and found it too big especially the height and it wasn't as quick to turn , needed more effort. The 2018 SP I got was much smaller physically maybe even too small for a lot of people but was far easier to turn and generally more agile fir less effort. Beemer was more aggressive on power delivery and felt a little stronger but I think you would have to be 'on it' to really benefit from that. The biggest difference for me was the physical sizes of the 2 bikes. Beemer if your a big lad Bkade if your smaller
