Riding back from my girfreinds parents, GF on the back going home.

Traveling through the new forest at about 9:45 pm on Sunday, Dark and drizzeling with rain, Come across a car coming the other way with full beam on so slowed down to about 15mph. then bang!! Didnt even see the bloody horse untill it ran off. Not even when i hit it.

Kept the bike upright and both of us stayed on. Neither hav injuries but shaken up a little.

As you can see, Nose cone, clocks, fairing bracket, mirror and headlighs are total'd!! FFS!!! My only form of transport too!!!

Not a happy bunny. Have to go through insurance and its gona go through as a fault claim!!

If it wasnt for the idiot with full beam on you might not even be here. you have to look on the plus side and you have escaped uninjured

That is a bugger, how much is your excess?
Surely you could pick up most of what you need used from eBay.

Excess is only £250 this year.

Both mid pannels have gone, Clocks, Nose cone, Headlights, Bank angle sensor, Fairing/clock bracket, screen is all mullered, plas any bits that ive missed.

Christ Blue, I'm amazed you stayed on. Glad you're both okay though mate. I shudder to think if you hadn't slowed down.

Mind you, you'd have been past him when he got there then.

    I'll get me coat.
