Hi all, I am a bit new to forums. I have an 08rr and I am currently modding it for track only. I need help however. I am really struggling to work out how to take off the pillion pegs! I am not stupid but at the same time I do not want to strip the whole thing down just yet and only want to remove the pegs and install quickshifter and pc5. Any advice would be really appreciated leemt2112
welcome to the forum chap, never taken the pillion pegs off so cant help you there but its a bit of a job to do by all accounts. If you do a forum search its been covered a few times on here. Good luck Si
There will be an article on this, but its a big job - full back end of bike strip down to split subframe to gain access to bolts. Look on it as a 2 hour job and you will be about right time wise

Welcome fella, what others have said re the rear pegs, a big job that I keep thinking about and then deciding Naw won’t bother just now?
Lucky for me in that i sussed out about the rear peg issues prior to buying the bike so i made it a condition of the deal so it was a 3 hour freebee. What i can't understand is that as these are racebikes with number plates and lights why would Honda make it so hard for dudes wanting a road bike but who also did the odd track day??
