Ive just seen this new ISA advert on the telly, and correct me if im wrong (which i must be), but they will give you 3.86% interest back on £10K over 12 months??? Isnt that £386 per YEAR?

I'll tell you what, you give me the £10K and i'll give you back £500 in 6 months. I made more on the sale of my last bike in 2 months than these people are giving out in interest in one year.
More to the point i could give out the £10K plus £500 and probably have a bike of my own all paid for in six months, probably a nice 954 acually.

Come one come all, invest in the new high interest bond, the all new BALLS account, Balthorpes Apreciating Lucrative Lucre Saver.

I'm serious! If i had half that amount of cash in December to play with, i would be at least £1500 quid up, on just two bikes up by now.

Good rant, but I've said the low mortgage rates are good for many but crap for the many more that have savings. I'm getting more on premium bonds than ISA's.

Best bet get a cheap website where people can borrow up to 1k for a month and only ask for 50% apr not the 500-3000% u seen on stupid tv adverts

    Youll make a killing

Perhaps we should start thinking about a rant board rather than just a rant thread Matt.

    I suggest "The Postal Room"
