Well with the new season on the horizon......albeit a long way away on the horizon chin.gif but I think that some new leathers are in order t2705.gif . I think I've narrowed it down to a couple of choices and would appreciate you lot giving your input as I'm crap at making decisions c_anxious.gif

One's a 1-Piece which I find much more comfy when riding but not so nice off it and the other's a 2 piece which is nicer for the exactly the opposite.

The way I look at it when being bike gear is - It's for ON the bike not OFF it.

Aye that's the rub isn't it. I used to have a Dainese T-Age 2 piece that was great when you stopped for a drink in summer but I then sold that and bought a Dainese Bora 1 piece which instantly felt way more comfy when riding but a PIA on meet ups etc.

1 piece all the way!! who cares when your off the bike - if you work it out, it's hardly anytime at all in a day out on the bike.

tour every year in my one piece, no bother at all.

and of the 2 links - the 1piece is a mucher nicer suit imo

    Like the Dainese one piece.
I've got a few pairs of RST leathers as they fit me well (bit too 'stocky' for the Italian cut!) and feel strong and well put together and great value for money.
Never had 2 piece but they do seem to make sense for the road.

Cheers for the replies, lads :)

I've always had Dainese for some reason....not intentional......but my whippet-like frame does favour the Italian cut.

Unfortunately whereas my frame's Italian the amount of stuff I'm trying to packing into the groin part of the leathers is distinctly Jamaican and is therefore bloody uncomfortable when I stand up pinocchio-3504.gif

    suit xerox.jpg

Getting these made by a bloke Shanes knows, although waiting untill Feb now as they will be adding the titanium/magnesium sliders to shoulders and knees. Tailored for you in the region of £300

Might be worth a try for the price ??

Obviously you can do your own design :)

Saying that I have wolf kangaroo at the moment and the first suit you showed looks a lot like the wolf retro set they make, good quality cheap and last well Choices choices :)

I've never worn a 1-piece. My Frank Thomas XTI2 2 piece is (are?) very comfortable and suit me down to the ground. However if I could get a one piece made for around £300 that would be outstanding. I had a quick look at that thread that was linked, but I didn't search through it - is there a website etc. were I can have a look at what's on offer? I can imagine finding a one piece to fit me off the shelf will be difficult as I have long legs (35.5" inside leg) and long arms but my body is sort of normal length. Build business suits off the shelf is next to impossible. Yes, I'm a freak.

Never mind - I assume the website is on the side of the leathers picture.

Shanes a member on here could possibly help you :) he is organising mine you can design your own or send a few pics of what you like, they do the design and once your happy you send measurements and money and they get made 2-3 weeks I think, as I said Shane will let you know more if you PM him :) I am sure he won't mind :)
