welcome mate, yes the blade is forgiving but any bike will only go as fast as you turn the throttle! just go steady until you feel used to the power delivery and you will love it!
im back on a blade after a zx6r and must admit, its not much different, of course there is lots more power but the blade handles even better for a so called bigger bike
good luck with finding the new bike

    Hi Mate,
I stepped up from a CBR600 and found the bigger bike easier to ride. Just go steady on the throttle or it will bite ya!

Hi DAZB and welcome to the forum.

Agree with Slim Ted. Apart from the obvious difference in the power delivery my Blade is easier to ride than my CBR600F. Just treat it with the respect it deserves and you'll be fine. Local to me too. Might see you around. Ride safe and enjoy it fella. You wont be disappointed I promise.

Welcome buddy, I to recently stepped up to a blade from a cb600 Hornet f2 but as advice above follow a couple of simple rules and you'll be fine, I did'nt find the size or weight difference a challenge at all but ease that throttle in nice and steady, at first anyway;).
I have only been riding mine since May and it already feels natural sat astride my steed but I remind myself every outing of what It's capable off and never become over confident.
Good luck with It pal you will enjoy:)

Welcome mate, I went from 600rr to the blade. I never thought I'd get a 1000cc bike but I have and not looked back.

    Hi and welcome:)
After 6 years on a 600RR I stepped up to the Blade and instantly found it so much easier to ride than the 6. Yes it's got so much more power but with respect it's such a rewarding bike:)

    Welcome.

Blade is a forgiving bike and like others I find it easier to ride than a 600.

It does have teeth though ;)

Welcome fella. I went from a CBR600F to a blade and haven't regretted it once. In some ways it's actually easier to ride. Very similar riding position too - not as aggressive as some sportsbikes!
