    Hi all

    Just a quick post to say Hi.

    I've just had my new bike delivered this week. A 10 plate CBR1000rr, finally got round to upgrading, been ridding a CBR600FY for the last 8 years and was starting to get bored with it so hence the new one. Looking forward to the better weather so I can get her out.

    Welcome - rare colour scheme that one.

    Whereabouts in the Highlands are you - I know there are a fair few oil boys on here from Aberdeen direction

    Couple of years ago now a big group of us did a tour round Scotland in mid May - had all sorts of weather but a great trip - perhaps something will happen next year too.

    Stay just north of Inverness, a lot of good roads just the unpredictable weather sometimes lets it down

    Yeh it was clean, nearly shed a tear watching it go into the back of the van, had it that long it felt like part of the family.

    On the trip north we did a road from just north of Inverness over to Applecross - lovely up that way when you hit the weather right, and in June evenings stay light till forever - one year I want to get to the highlands / North Coast for Mid Summer
