New Paint

    Hey all,

    Just thinking about painting the blade, its all black at mo, standard.
    Just can't get the TT Legends bike out of my head....what do you guy's think?

    Does anybody know if the white on a Legends bike is pearl or flat?

    Cant help with the paint but i do love the TT Legends very much! Please post pictures of the bike if you do paint it :cool:

    I think your on the right track getting it done TT legends. I love it.
    I'm sure I will come under fire for this from the HRC lads ;)

    Bloody heck couldn't tell you. I'm sure someone will shed some light.
    The only reason I can't be too sure my mate who's got the HRC had my bike in his garage for over a week whilst I did some work to my shed.
    I reckon he must have spent 4+ hours a night detailing and polishing it. Still need my sunglasses on now :D

    Think the HRC is nicer in that pic :) but do love the legends theme

    How about contacting actumarts and ask them if they can provide a set of plastics painted in the legends colours, i've heard they will do custom paint jobs!
    I was actually considering requesting it for my RR6 before I ordered the Rothmans set.
    Would save you a small fortune over getting a decent paint job in the UK, plus you'd have your original plastics to sell on or keep for if/when you come to sell.

    I'm pretty sure it's pearl white mate. If you have a look at sossige's thread for "2009 HRC request" you'll see it quite clearly.

    Bats has spent a lot of effort on his HRC. Mine too. And I agree the HRC looks superb. I just wanted to be special cos that's what it said I was on my educational statement ;)

    If your going to do it, get it done by the actual people that do the TT legends racebikes, Spraybay Racepaints in Immingham, lincs. they do all the honda uk bikes, tt legends, hm plant, also do Parkalgar honda, and many many more.

    Oh, and you wont get a finer job done anywhere else, it just doesnt look right done by anyone else.

    The fella I use to spray my bikes is doing one in jan he contacted them
    For the exact codes as their are a few about that look a million
    Miles off when their sat next to a proper legends

    Oh that is nice, just what I want...this week..!!!
    Prob change my mind next week and paint it Rothmans instead....
