This anyone’s on here? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/323535148885
Shame is about this is that some unscrupulous sellers are putting up 2017s as a 2018 bike. Example: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB...m=253964059517&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982 This is also advertised as 'brand new' yet it was registered in Feb 2018. Also the pics arouse suspicion because I think they are promo shots and not shots of the actual bike. Some dealers are also dropping genuine 2018s for 19,995: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-Hond...146304?hash=item3b11b50480:g:EoEAAOSwWMFa11uD Whilst they are a great bike, there seems a glut of them in the market. And worse is to come. At the NEC today I enquired about 2019 Blades. We already know the 'standard' model receives some extra white paint and revised electronics. However, I was advised by 2 different personnel that there will be NO revised SP2. My query stemmed from the fact that as an homologation model, the whole 500 should already have been manufactured, and on that basis there should now only be 'J' (2018) models available. If this is definitely the case (for I wouldn't accept a exhibition attendant's version as gospel) that will mean that purchasers will be buying 2018 models in 2019. This might well explain why prices are now being sacrificed.
How was the NEC N any good? What did the BMW look like in the flesh i like the look of the V4 corse...paint job..going on Tuesday...
BMW is ace. Easy to understand how many jump off the Blade onto one of those. 2019 Aprilia V4 in black (with the wings) looked very ordinary. Not in the league of Ducati's aesthetics. Very wise move going on Tuesday. The last time I was somewhere that busy was at a Gary Glitter concert in 1972.
You mean no new 2019 models? You might have read in another post that I was told at the NEC they'll still be selling 2018s in 2019. How much truth is in that I couldn't be sure.
sp2 are only "2017" models , sold or registered in 2018 do not make them 18 models. In few countries if some still available also 19 model.
Have to respectfully respond to that because I bought my SP2 in March of this year as the first of the 2018 imports. Its VIN is: JH2SC77CXJK******. The 10th digit 'J' denotes 2018 manufacture. There could be a case of saying 2017 bikes laid around the factory for months, however, once a vehicle is labelled with a VIN, that 10th check digit is accepted as the year of manufacture.
Yes , i also have a production model from 17 and one from 18 , but they are the same . As the sp2 did not get engine refine for 18 like a standard or sp1 ( we do not forget sp2 engines are blueprinted)
Not quite understanding you there, because the true '17' model is an 'H' designation with blue 'Honda' on the belly ban, and the 2018 is the 'J' with the 'red 'Honda on the belly pan. Perhaps academic for now, because we're probably both interested to see what rolls through as a '2019' model. Cheers
yes you are right as i got in dec 16 my 17 and in oct 17 my 18 https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/2017-honda.30798/page-29#post-433022
