Hello everybody as title says I am new to a few things but not new to biking been riding on the road since I was 16 and gone from 50 cc to 125 cc to 400 cc to 600 cc but been riding 600s for 10 years during that time been looking at 1000s but this year was the year and when my boss brought the new ducati 1299 I jumped at the chance to buy his repsol blade from him. he was the second owner and I had seen what he had spent on it over the two years and I had never heard him moan about the bike just praise.don't think he did me a deal but also don't think he ripped me of its a 2011 bike with 13000 miles and lots of little extras that I helped chose so you could say I was getting him to pay for the bits I would have done to it I paid 6000 for it Hope to meet other like minded people to help and to help me more then anything as new to honda and the grin factor of a 1000cc blade
I am really chuffed with bike but on the first day of parking it at work someone in a flat bed truck opened his door and smashed my mirror only noticed when it started to rain and I went out to bring bike into shop checked cctv but could not get reg nothing I could have done but if they where a regular customer £100 would have gone on to there next bill every customer now in white flatbed truck that comes in is a suspect lol
