My front tyre has now done 4700 from new. Handling has been a bit dodgy lately, I have been checking my tyre pressures and tread depth but both are OK. Today after an interesting ride out I felt the tyre and the profile is horrific, it's like a 50p piece. I think maybe I've had me money's worth, but on reflection I should've changed my tyre about 1000 miles ago. I changed the rear at about 2500 miles. I think I will stay with the standard fitment, otherwise I'd have to change the pair.
