Hi, My front tyre needs replacing, the rear is ok just little squared off... should i change both frontand rear? or can i just change the front for now.. Thanks
if your going with the same make and model of tyres then just change the front. many different things said about matching front and rear but I always do also lots of handy info ion tyres in this thread http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/309.htm
Alwats a good idea to check your suspension set up too? on my old gsxr it made a right mess of them due to inapropriate settings, saves throwing good money at them? plenty on here about them if you need any advice
well if you had said you had BT016 hen I would have said change both. used the 14,15 and 16's and they were oK but much better out there what u get in the end
I was thinking BT023 as iv had them before.. Bikes used mainly for commuting.. Unsure what the above are like in comparison..
I know many who have used the 20,21 and 23 for commuting and found them to be very good. just for my style of riding which is fast road and more track they don't give me as much feedback as the 2CT's or Sportsmarts. and don't last very well
I have just fitted a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT and they seem to do the job quite nicely. Have survived a track day and a trip to the IOM TT, still got life in them. Would go for another set for sure.
