It's still ugly. I don't think it will be comparable to the Blade in the mid, they would need a different engine for that to happen.

Marmite bike. you love or hate it. it's one of the only other sports bike I like. other than the blade. The mid range was lacking soo much compaired to the blade. It was one of the reason why I went for the blade. And the 2k difference in price

I think it looks great, but still more than happy to be a 'blade owner'.

You ridden one?? Great machine and totally rapid, but very clinical and un involving and I found the traction control too intrusive...

Felt afterwards that the bike was doing it for me, and that's not why I ride bikes!

1000cc no abs, no t/c for me all day! Love my blade.

I think they may have upgraded the TC..

Agree, a bit clinical, but it looks as though the 2012 is a different beast..

I loved it when i rode the current model, but went for the blade due to value for money - £9k vs £13k..

    Indeed! No brainer ££ wise..
Loved the bottom end of the blade, on the road that's where your using the power...

Not rode the rsv yet, but know a fella who has one and says it's immense!! But bloody tiny

Yeah I'd take an rsv4 any day to but I'd rather have my GSXR 1000 and my blade over both of them I really wanted to like the bm at the bike show but I can't stand it, despite the reviews and power I look at it and hysterical don't want it, i like that blue colour though.

Hands up their amazing but not my cuppa at all

Tc and all that power is useless unless your any good tbh,

TC may actually help you save your life but wont make you faster or a better rider, best learn without it first then use it to an advantage

Im not a riding god by any means but last month at Donington my blade running road biased rubber at the time ran rings round 2 s1000rr's, i carried way more corner speed and obviously felt more comfortable... thats the way it is, Ive also had my ass handed to me on a plate by some mad bloke on a 600cc. Shit happens

    I like the Bimmer...but as above...im a cunt :)

The blade is far more involved throttle end, your doing it all so at least at the end of the session you can give yourself a bloody good pat on the back old bean:)

    ^ True.

I murdered one at the Odhiam track day in the fast group, and i was on a '98 Srad! But he was a homo when it came to braking - and i was a liability that day!

I'd like one personally - I think my blade will be a full time track weapon and it would be nice to have the German as a road toy and for popping down to France on.

I'll still have the old srad in the garage though - cracking little bike for peanuts.

RSV? Hmm - dunno..... its just never felt right for me. Dare i say it but i'd prefer the new Duc if i'm going Italian..
