During my 600 miles service. Pic's to follow and looking forward to hearing what they sound like :Banane52:
You lucky git........I've been waiting for 2 months for mine to arrive Are you have a slip on or full system?
just the slip on but from looking at the prices £650 seems not a bad price. Bought from JHS racing in bristol. They had a full system for £850 but I just wanted a bit more noise and ffor the can to look better. So not on the hunt for POWER lol.
Yeah I saw they have the full system on special offer but it's a stainless can. Did you get the fairing panel too? There is a few used ones on eBay but without the panel.
Just had a look at this and according to the Yoshi website the slip on makes more power and torque than the full system......wtf !! slip on - Yoshimura R&D - R-77 Stainless/Carbon Slip-On Full system - Yoshimura R&D - R-77 Stainless/Carbon Full System i know which one i will be choosing then lol
The full system will give more power with a remap to suit it. The slip on is designed to run well on a standard bike. Don't think you can fit a race fairing wirhout cutting the belly pan with the slip on either due to the s-bend. It's a very nice looking can especially with the heat shield.
Lovely. This with the filler panel is the best looking can in my opinion. I actually want to get that filler panel and see if it will fit my Akra.
ARH.......good news, just found out that my Yoshi will be delivered next week!......only been waiting 2 months, it better sound good after all this wait. I got a good deal on this. £ 789.00 delivered for a full stainless/carbonYoshi system!
thats a hell of a price for the full system. I took my blade in for its first 600 miles service and they took the bike in while I was there. should have pics later and hopefully a vid of the noise. got to pick it up after work later.
You'll love it. Its the best can for the blade. Sounds EPIC. even with the baffle in which i tried this weekend at a low decibel event, it still sounds the nuts and drops it to 100db. Also with the baffle, you put it in and its lovely black aluminum with nice Yoshi embossing, then run it for 20 mins and it turns gold! Looks even nicer! Pain to fit though, ask them to pop the rivet out before they fit it (where the baffle screw goes) as it took me about an hour with a tiny screw driver to bend it out! I recomend: Splitting 2 vans at about 8k revs - i guarantee you cant hold back a yelping "Woooaaahhhhh!!!" Enjoy
Mine comes from the Us so has no baffles in, but they are giving me a free baffle that i can fit when/if needed
Just fitted an Akrapovic slip on race can to my new Blade. What a difference in noise and power delivery (especially between 3000 - 4500RPM)!!! Also looks the dogs in carbon........... Test rode a bike from Farnham Honda with a Yoshi slip on can, also sounded superb compared with standard.
Had my 600 service yesterday. cant make m mind between the r77 you have and the akrapovic range.. Do you rate the yoshi?
Hi Dan Being slightly biases I prefer the Akrapovic. Akrapovic & Arrow probably produce the best exhausts in the world. Have a look at the Akropovic web site and compare power delivery to other cans, dont think anything else quite compares. However the Yoshi cans are nice and its down to personal choice. I've just fitted the carbon Akro race can and I'm extremelly impressed, the standard can is just too quiet and suffers from the drop in torque between 3000-4500RPM. Cheers Rich
