Hi all just about to take delivery of my new toy a cbr1000rr 05 she is a track bike at the moment but want to convert her back to road use so after a frame and lights then i will swop it all over, expecting a long hard job..... but needs to be done, anyway hope to be able to give back as much info to the site as i need to get out in the first stages of enjoyment of the new toy, regards Phill gloucestershire

Hi Phil a warm welcome from me to. Please explain the thinking behind buying a track bike to convert (was it really cheap) and have you got the parts ect.
Thanks for the welcome chaps, very nice, in in drybrook Forest of Dean area, nice roads but too many sheep on the roads here, and thanks for the heads up on the ebay frame i intend to phone him with a view to buying it, possibly get it painted as it looks scratched, anyway it seems buying that one could be the easiest option, otherwise its new frame, rebuild it all, then off to DVLA and get an SVA done , so keeping my options open still anyway thanks again all, the bike is basically totally black, race fairings, is pushing out 158 at the rear wheel with dyno chart all set up in Norfolk somewhere, im swoping my aprilia RSV road bike for her as i want an inline four again, its a shame its not on the road, but the mileage is 2,100 miles genuine, with some spares regards Phill
