interesting, not sure they will replace their flagship bikes with the configuration though? would love to try a big sports triple though - dont know why triumph dont make a 1050 daytona, wouldnt win any races but by god it'd be sexy, awesome on the road and sell by the shed load?
Probably they want to come out with something special, even it's not special at all. Might be good for 675 cc like MV-Augusta and the SpeedTriple but I don't think people are ready for a 1000cc three-cylinder engine and have to pay more - like always with Yamaha - than for other brands. On the other hand, if it's much lighter and smaller why not give it a try !
i am a little shocked at this, but as the 675 has showed how good it is im sure yamaha will come up with something special
I had a Laverda Jota for a very brief period of time. Back then they were claiming it was the fastest production bike in the world. If you had balls big enough to find out you wouldn't have fitted on it.
