Greetings, interesting day today, my 2011 is in for repair attm after a low speed (dumb) off on the Island, I have gb racing covers fitted and they definitely save the casings but not the plastics, right next to mine is another 2011 blade which according to the assessor had a similiar off. He had bungs fitted and the right hand one has taken out the barrel on impact.....a warning methinks?

Something i have always thought of. sure at slow speed they will help but at speed surely they will cause more damage than they peotect

To be honest a high speed off and your bike fooked anyway! I dropped my R1 once at low speed and the bung saved my plastucs so I always fit them.

I had a 30-40 mph low side on my old GSXR 600 K4, the R&G's I fitted saved all the fairing and the only things to get damaged were the bar end, clutch lever, foot peg & said crash bungs. They are the first thing I fit to a new bike.

Ditto the above, my experience of R & G is similar, i had an off on my CBF600N and although it was a naked bike it still saved the casings and a number of other bits.... will always fit them, as said on a big '' off '' i can see nothing saving it anyway.
