    Hi guys,

    I own a 2005 cbr1000rr, I believe I'm having a fuel pump issue.

When I turn the ignition on, I'm used to hearing the fuel pump prime and observing the rev needle set itself.

However when I turn the ignition on I no longer here the fuel pump. The starter turns fine and sounds strong.

The kill switch is not on. The fuse seems fine. Any other suggestions?

Do you have any error flashing lights on the dash?

You can tell if it's the pump put a meter over the two of the wires to the fuel pump, can't remember which colours sorry you should see the priming voltage when you turn it on. I bet you have a sensor failed but should flash up the error code really.. Could be fuel pump relay. Same as headlight one so swap them over to check. Tilt sensor can't remember what else.. Have you got the manual it will tell you?
