Anyone on this ? i ve just been told its no a 95db day not 98 as advertised....how can i be prepared to do a quick fix if i fail db test....any advice ? im Running a akro (stamped not road legal) with a baffle..... no cat.....
where is it mate, not on it, but depends how strict they are where it is? my experience is NL dont really give a f*ck....
That would help.........lol sorry its MALLORY PARK....... yes i agree but they told me on phone council have contacted track and set it to 95db.... so spaces have become available. Wadding at the ready......if i can get some.
it's nothing to do with TDO (trackday organiser).all sound levels are monitered by the track, and tested by them. however,i've never heard of a 95db limit,it's usually 98 on a quiet day, also, mallory as far as i'm aware aren't overly strict.
oh and the chances of a blde passing a 95 limit are baically fuck all i'd think.my akky is 101 with baffle in.
problem with mallory is the proximity to peoples houses. it must be like having a track in the back garden on noisy days.
just read NL's post on facebook. at least it will quiet in the groups as theres not going to be many of the usaual trackday goers on this i dont think now. seems strange as mallory has nevre been that strict regarding noise issues, maybe that could be the cause of this?
Extended existing akro baffle with some mild steel slightly smaller diameter tubing (wadding used to seal any gaps)............it got me through at.................95db ! right on the limit but seemed to use alot more fuel than usual..... ? any thought chaps ? but i know who would know.......... Arthurrrrrrrrrr !!!
