That makes very little sense to me, (it could be the bottle of wine + lager spicy & coke)

    I get:

    work today,
    plan ride later,
    didn't ride,
    rain tomorrow.

    The rest confuddles me.

No ride yesterday.............but Oh Yes there was one today :D

Roads at home were dry and although cold I just had to get out. Six miles out and the roads started to get damp and the usual hazards of farmers mud became more and more common....I just love farm vehicles muddying the road and paying no road tax...does not wind me up in the slightest.

Twelve miles out and the roads were very wet with standing water in some places. Now I do love my BSB's but the lack of tread on them does cause me to be a little cautious, although to be fair they have been very good in the wet considering there is very little to displace water.

By this time, I had realised the bike was going to need a really thorough clean so decided to make the most of it. Ended up having a great ride and pushed a little harder in the wet than I usually do and surprised myself. I am not a very good wet rider, but practice is making me better, probably mainly a confidence thing, but today the old girl got some welly.

For a nice change, no one aimed their car at me and more impressively, there were at least 6 occasions where car drivers actually made a point of staying where they were until I had passed, even though they probably could have gone.

I am even getting quicker at the full clean, but still nowhere near as much enjoyable as the riding.

I have had the Blade for 18 months now and it still keeps impressing me and giving me a feeling ' I was born to ride' .

Next months revamp of Marchesini wheels, M4 calipers, RCS brake master cylinder and T Drive discs plus altered gearing and rear Brembo disc is getting me very excited and I just can't wait to try it out. Not long now and the better weather is not so far away.

I just love the Blade so much, makes me smile every time I ride it. I am so loved up haha
