Looking at booking a trackday or 2.

Just wondering who has a Yoshi R77 on a 11 plate or similar and what results you are getting with noise limits etc... with or without the Baffle in.

Just to give me a idea of what I can look at. I have a noise tester and will try it out over the weekend BUT as yet never been tested at a circuit.

They test at 1m from end of Can at a steady 5500 rpm for a Thou.

This could answer my problems from yesterday?

Tester wanted 7000 rpm for the 750.

After my second fail, I took a bit more notice of what was going on and no way was the guy with the what ever it was he was holding "but it was about to be inserted in a place that google censorship won't allow me to say"
From where I observed he appeared to be much closer than one meter?

Perhaps sheds some light as to why And7rp2 had to do 300ml of brand named fizzy drink in 10 seconds flat :)

It's a common misconception Gary that the noise sensor/microphone is located at the end of the 'Wand' that the Noise Tester waves about, it isn't!

The end of the Wand is a datum point which is rested or touched at the end of the Bikes Can.

The actual receptor/sensor is located exactly 1 meter back up the wand! ;)

Thanks for clearing that one up for me J.
So basically I'd have to shove it up "that place google censorship won't allow me to type" quite a way for the full effect then wouldn't I. :D

    :edit:
    What about the revs though?
    Saying a litre bike is asked for 5500rpm & a 750 required 7000rpm
    Bit excessive isn't it?
Or was it a conspiracy to try and wipe the stupid grin off me mush:D

5.5k without baffle 101db carbon Yoshi R77 back box

Full system came out at 99db 2weeks ago interestingly also without baffle.

Please note baffle really restricts power output compared to without

Not sure how they come up with the minimum Rev test points on various CC Bikes?

    Akrapovic Slip on without DB-Killer in Silverstone ( May 20th ) ?

Or do I have to install the DB-Killer ?

Couldn't find anything about the Akrapovic Slip on noise.

    Found it !
