And good news. I've yet to do a track day where I was tested, Pembrey and Anglesey.

So with Mallory up in a few weeks I thought I better test mine

    I used
    Digital Auto Ranging Sound Meter

and had to laugh as I paid £25 new from Maplin's a few years ago. Now I know it's not calibrated but with the baffle OUT! and ravs at approx 6k as suggested for trackdays, the wife held the noise tester and used a meter long stick at about 4 angles from the back of the can and the results

between 101db and 104bd. So I can take my bike and the baffle for the Yoshi and hoping it will all go well

    fingers crossed

I'm off to Oulton on Tuesday and the Baffle for my Arrow that I ordered the other week still hasn't turned up :( will hopefully be ok on my rr4.

depends how and where they test for noise. make sure the bike is fully warmed up. as I said I got the wife to hold it in a few different directions (oww err) and did not go over 104 with the baffle out. and would hope for under 100db with it in.

Still no good for a few tracks.

and if I do more trackdays which I am hoping I may need to look into a different end can to help with the noise
