So I ordered a new motor that was supposed to be a 2023 with 5k miles on it. I was shipped the wrong motor and instead got a 2019 with supposedly 4k miles on it. I started to inspect the motor which for one was much dirtier than the motor I ordered originally, i also took a look down at the valves and saw quite a bit of carbon. Im not too familiar with what 4k miles of carbon buildup would look like, but this certainly seems excessive. I have some pictures of it attached. The front Sprocket looks OEM and appears to possibly only have around 4k on it. I'm wondering if its possible to get this carbon build up in 4k miles?

I'd much rather take a few hundred back for the inconvenience and keep this motor, instead of doing the full return and dealing with those hassles. Let me know what you guys think. IMG_1096.jpg IMG_1097.jpg
