Thanks fs, enjoyed myself yesterday - especially liked that Hexham road, in all my years I've never been that way before !

Yep it's a good section of road!

Got to watch out for brake lights in case of elbows on mirrors action though! That was a near miss!

Tell u what tho that bm was quick, if I hadn't hit the limiter would have tried harder to stick with him - waste of time as it was tho....

Yeah things get blurred at them speeds!

It's a waste of time against a BMW on a straight road like that anyway. They've got a good 10-15mph more with standard gearing.

Mine still had about 3000 rpm to go when you hit the limiter

Aye that's what I was telling masher afterwards. The fuzz do alot of their high speed training up there in unmarked cars.

It was ambad time for pissing around too as it was rush hour!

We tried...the only bad traffic we hit was the run back down the A1 - aside from that, we didn't hit that much traffic

Fs a can't believe u had 3k in hand when I came past - you should have stuck in and buzzed him, there was only the straight section he did us on..am sure we could have had him in the twisties - anybody can pin it and go on the straights n I reckon he was a straight stretch monster....

Yeah mine was only at about 10k in 6th. Your geared alot lower than me now. Maybe could have stuck with him a bit longer but it is a dodgey road for fuzz so wasn't really wanting to push my luck too far!

It's a pity we didn't meet him in the Alston road!

Was out today pretty much the same route again but didn't do Barnard castle - went thru Stanhope then hill end toward Middleton
