It may be worth going out on a night as the nights are light till about 9

If you fancy it we could arrange something mid week after work or possibly the weekend

Anyone else interested in a north east ride out/meet?

Yeah nights are ok, I took in the Richmond - Reeth - Kirby Stephen run on Tuesday night, was lucky with the weather and avoided getting wet, roads were dry as well - can say that the lights on the bike are good !

Used to ride the greenlanes round reeth. Very nice

I'm up for a ride round that way as I don't know any of the routes there apart from Helmsley to stokesley

Must admit I was dusting the memory cobwebs off, but those roads are nice as you say, we used to cut across that way via Barnard Castle and the 'Stang' - nice way to get to the lakes !

I often go thru Barnard castle past deerbolt thru bowes and Michael something or other then Middleton to high force. My fave road in the world I reckon!

Yeah that cotherstone road is really nice - I do like the road that links from Middleton to Barny (past glaxo) - the old road to staindrop is a more direct road home for me, but the detour is well worth it for a few more miles of interesting road !
