A few guys have mentioned about a ride out for the North West before the clocks go back.
I propose october the 7th, I appreciate dates are only good if you can make them, if you can't? My apologies.

The main thing we have to consider is daylight hours, the date mentioned will, if it's a nice day? Give approximately just over 11 hours of light, had a quick check and suns up at 07.20 and down at 18.25.
So if anyone fancys a last fling of the year before we start stripping and modding the bikes, I'm open to suggestions for a destination with a practical amount of miles for the day.

    Weather dependant of course ;)

Keep with it Jason, I'm sure some of the regulars will be along too? Unless they have stripped their bikes for winter already ;)

I don't bother with Sorning mine, imagine, nice day in winter ooh I'll get the bike out, bugger, no tax. IMO not worth not doing, saving what £36 for the six months? Getting a couple of days out in the season we are not supposed to,
    Priceless ;)

Hmm, Wales. Sounds good to me Giv, perhaps like the Wales run1? But with a little less chatting and having to wait/look for me, and source engine oil covers :D I reckon we'd have more than enough time.

As promised a link and a shameless bump ;) for the proposed route for this ride out, some familer roads, one of them which is so good were doing it twice, the A483 Newtown to Crossgates.

Anyway have a look, see what you think, aprox 280 miles from Lymm too Lymm, then of course plus your milage from and to home,

It's not looking too promising for next Sunday either Mike.
Looks like the fairings could be coming off earlier than first thought?
