Not a Fireblade - But Headstock Bearings

    Right - so i have a CCM r30 supermoto

    trying to replace the headstock bearings

    got the it all stripped down !

    But cant get the bottom set of bearing off the bottom yoke/spindle

    Any tips or suggestions

    You need a flad edged chisle and strike it like you mean it without hitting anything else, drive the chisle in at the base of the bearing, I take it its a taper roller?

    yes it is tappered

    i will get the hammer out one nite this week

    It will go mate but take care with the alloy yoke bottom.. I know some tricks with them if they will not move, you can weld a lug on the inner to get a grip with a drift if they dont move the other way as the bearing is hardened the weld fractures the shell and they split from the heat then the shell just brakes up and falls away.
