    Hey all
9 hours in soggy shreddies today.... still enjoyed the riding, more stops tho to de-mist and wring out.
Bit of an arse we are now guaranteed to be pee-wet-thru from here to Le Mans to Calais, then probably Dover to Dorset.:(
But our chins are up. Saw some nasty accidents today nr Bordeaux, one of which prob 30 secs behind us, bit glad about that....
Done most of tday on piage, another arse, but as so wet felt no aspiration to view bon village with my testies in my stomach!
(BTW - I binned my all in ones this morning as too tight to go over leather jacket & no movement to wear under) - choice made, bread cheese & vino fecking lovely tho!
Jenna bit better in Furygan but not seen weather like it since return from IOMTT in guessing 2000ish.
Can anybody help with what our salade was lastnight please?! Looked like dog-arse but tasted ok....

Hope all the other guys out there hitting miles are all fun & all safe.
    Cheers for now
    :)

Quick Google "In France, one of the luncheon salads you see in a lot of cafés and restaurants is a salade de gésiers — a gizzard salad (gésier being the French word for gizzard, obviously). " Yuk !

Been there / done that with the rain.

One tip - if you do stop next day or so and sun is out use the time to dry stuff out (as below) - Its surprising how much difference it makes even 30 mins at a garage made stuff almost dry.

Weather will get better for you I am sure

Never heard of gizzard, which stumpted us. Thought maybe Oxtail but Dog-arse seemed appropriate. (& she ate it!)

The 'terrior' was your mix of pate, bread, pickled bloody asparagus (as I thought but my piss didnt stink this smorning) Well, other than Cote du Rhone and the fear of nappy rash for another day!

    Cheers E
    Appreciated

I've worked it out! The reason you and Al have banjaxed the weather on tour is because the luggage 'system' you choose to use is so enormous that it generates its own weather system.

I don't suppose you've noticed any large-winged birds of prey riding the Ventura's thermals when you come to a rest?

    I've barely started, shipmate.

Wait till I bombard your house with white noise and dust of the loudhailer...
