As per title folks, does anyone have their number plate mounted further back than the conventional location, ie half way down the undertray, so it's akin to being beneath the main seat?
Are there special mounting brackets available to mount the plate here?

Am sure I have seen a pic on one of the threads on here but can no longer find it.
As always, much appreciated for any info.

    PM me tomorrow or Sunday.

I can't get in the garage at the moment (due to a few glasses of vino, my arm in a sling and the assault course to get to the back at the moment) and I'm at Castle Combe for most of tomorrow helping a few mates who are racing with North Gloucestershire (on Gixer 1000's )

I purchased a bracket with adjustable angle position from J&S Spares last night for £19 and fitted it underneath the Battery tray and have it tilted back so it doesn't foul the Hugger or the Rear shock under load. It is still clearly visable from the rear so hopefully it isn't too much for PC Plod to worry about but it still look better than having it in the usual spot. I'll take a picture and upload it at Lunch time

Brilliant mate. Are you running the normal indicators? Also, what about the plate light?
    Cheers Sam

No, i have intergrated indicators in my Tail light, I do not have a Rear plate light as it is not an MOT failure on a Bike, a Bike doesn't actually need a rear plate light so i haven't fitted one, but if i did want one there is an access point right where the plate is now situated that i could run a light from.
