Does anyone know any good roads or rides on route to the Ring? Going in about 6 weeks so need to plan a good route to it, and from it to Assen.
I used to go from the tunnel via, head towards dunkirk, down to Lille, thru to Charleroi, over to Liege, then drop down thru Verviers, Malmedy, St vith, then left at Prum & over to the ring. There are some fast roads thru Belgium but not very excitng, once you get to the German border they get a bit quieter, but i did turn off early once, i think at St vith, & these roads if i remember werent too bad , alot of forest & bends & hills. A good trip whilst there is to Koblenz, good roads, but the last time i went i came back thru Holland , the road from the `ring`, out this way was good , i think it was the 258 to Blankenheim, which then takes you thru to Aachen.
